About Me

Emma Moser grew up in a homeschooling New England family of eight, where she was instilled with a nostalgic love for old literature, classical music, and traditional art. In Spring 2018, she completed her MFA in fiction at Southern Connecticut State University. Currently, she resides in North Carolina with her husband, where she is working on her first novel.

Emma's writing interests include fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry. She has previously edited for Noctua Review, SCSU's national literary journal, and is a former contributor at Writers Get Together, where this blog has been featured multiple times.

Prior to her studies at SCSU, she graduated summa cum laude from Westfield State University, with a Bachelor's in English and a minor in music. During her undergraduate studies and as a member of the Sigma Tau Delta English Honors Society, Emma attended the Sigma Tau Delta International Convention in Albuquerque, NM in March 2015, where she presented her original fiction work to English students and faculty from around the country.

When she's not writing, Emma spends most days relishing in the small pleasures of life: good food, rich teas, deep conversations, and staring at clouds.

Emma has over thirty published works in various international and local literary venues. For a complete list of published and upcoming works, please visit the Publications page.
